Transportable Housing

Queensland Project Services engaged Hutchies to design and construct more than 100 modular 'transportable housing' solutions worth around $30 million. The homes would cater to the undersupply of regional housing for travelling Queensland Health workers in more than 18 towns across the state.

Under an extremely tight timeframe, Hutchies designed the modules to easily fit on single road trains to ensure maximum time efficiency for transport and minimal cost to Project Services on logistics. In less than 24 months, all 100 homes were designed, built, transported and installed in their regional locations.
